I came into this story already a little tired f the zombie genre but was surprised how much my interest for them regrew as I uickly became engrossed in the pages This is not your typical zombie story friends but so a new creative approach to the tale Imagine a world where the Bases Loaded only survivals are childrennly the adults having turned into zombies Overnight these children have to learn how to grow up and take responsibility There are no warnings this is their new life and They Either Adapt To It either adapt to it fast Have A Good Night, Volume 1 or else face the conseuencesf being eaten Araminta Star Matthews does a wonderful job f portraying this new world how the actions would unfold uickly and take hold f these children s lives I definitely recommend it I was so pleased when I got this in the mail It is a blood and gore zombie story told from a uniue perspective kids This adds to the suspense and chills the flesh eating takes n a whole new visual when it is youth being devoured pieces at a time Strawberry rhubarb jam is no longer n my list When You Lose Your Job of things to have for breakfast The plot moves rapidly it is a true page turner ane sitting book since the reader is drawn uickly into the story and the characters The characters and the setting the school the strengths f the story but also its weaknesses The characters are a bit given to un youth liketeenager behaviors what teen these days would not send ut texts the instant they find their parents eatenThe school setting works well since it has all sorts Isabel the Queen: Life and Times of protected inside spaces in which to run around but it also would have the technology available to use earlier in the story This is a triumphant debut novel I have a feeling and hope that there will be to this story I am eagerly awaiting the nextne to see how the author develops the characters and moves the plot to the next level One Fantastic Post Office 03 of the best Zombie books I ve ever read Wow Not my usual choicef genre but I found it to be very well written In fact I *Completed The Book In What Was For Me A Very *the book in what was for me a very time That speaks volumes Great character development and suspense I think Sage was my favorote character Can I review my Tim Crouch own book Um I don t think that s entirely ethical So I won t give it a star rating BUT I can say that it is a scary zombie story in which all the adults in a small New England town become zombies and a small bandf children have to figure ut how to survive in a hurry I hope you enjoy it And either way I hope you ll give it an honest review Just remember this is my first novel When the adults in this small town become monsters it's time for the children to grow up And fast Nestled in the pine studded hillside.
